Vivian (Jackson) Clark
Vivian (Jackson) Clark was born in Corsicana, Texas, and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. Her passion for singing came at an early childhood age. Growing up in a house with 3 male siblings, every Saturday, her father would wake them up to oldies from Motown as they cleaned up the house and sang songs. Vivian never knew she had a voice good enough to sing in public, she just knew she loved to sing. Vivian moved to Dallas in the 90s, where she formed numerous all-girl bands, and even learned how to play musical instruments. Her groups entertained all over Dallas from the Club-City Lights, Rock Chester Park, El Centro College, and many more. They captured the audience's attention and gained momentum along the way. After years of performing, Vivian decided to go back into the corporate world where she became an established magazine CEO and early learning director, but, she still had a desire to sing. In 2018, she decided to form an all-girls group called Taste a Flava. Where they are now performing all over Texas, and when the group comes together each one of them has a unique flava and adds a different style. It is a new Taste a Flava.
Audrey (Clark) Johnson
Audrey was born in Shreveport, LA, and raised in Dallas, TX. As a member of a musically inclined family, her love for music began early. She was performing in front of an audience of family and friends as soon as she learned to walk. Growing up with parents who could sing and having brothers who formed a popular Neo-soul band of their own, she was destined to love singing and dancing. Now as a member of Taste a Flava, she's expressing herself as the true performer she's always been.
Deandra Whitmill
Deandra is an up-and-coming musician born and raised in Dallas, Texas. The majority of her family is musically inclined. It was already in her blood. She first learned to play piano, and the drums, and at last to sing. She loves all genres of music, from Gospel to R&B and even classical. Joining Taste a Flava allowed her to meet even more strong music-loving women such as herself. Music has always been a part of her life and always will be, and she is ready to give everybody a Taste of her Flava.
